Kazakhstan does not claim leadership in solution of water problems: N. Iskakov
“Kazakhstan does not claim permanent leadership in solution of water problems”, Ecology Minister of Kazakhstan Nurlan Iskakov has told at the presentation of the Eurasian Water Center in Astana
As the Minister noted, “creating the center Kazakhstan demonstrates its readiness to interact actively with neighbor countries, with the whole world community in ecological issues and water quality” and added that “the Eurasian Water Center should become a regional center and involve CIS and non-CIS states of the continent”.
According to N. Iskakov, the centre will represent public-private partnership on the ground of which long-term investment programs and programs on stable governmental guarantees will be realized.
“Search for breakthrough projects, deep investigation of water, its structure and properties will give the center scientific acknowledgment and provide Kazakhstan’s priority in the sphere”, the Minister said.
